I arrived home last evening. No luggage, I traveled lighter than I intended to! At least I had company on the journey this time. My friend's name is Malaria. The airlines thought the 2 of us should stay in Uganda, and then again in Amsterdam! I had a mental picture of standing out on the runway and waving to the plane as it took off! However, we 2 had no other plans, so we remained seated, and got through to Canada. Had a lot of help on the way, until the plane staffed by Canadians. The sum total of their offered assistance was "Have a nice flight"! Now, I must locate my luggage......perhaps some of those places Malaria suggested we were visiting, were actually real?!
Feeling happy to see loved ones at home, and also feeling a deep sense of loss for loved ones left behind.....caught between 2 cultures.....again
And you are going to see a doctor now - CORRECT??!!

Thanks Ruth...I have seen a dr. and a hospital in every country; and every pilot came to meet me and also phoned some drs. I even have the American CDC phoning on Monday to follow up. My friend and I enjoyed many 'armchair vacations' together, although I cannot like the choices of location. However, I was not consulted :(
