finally, conditions have allowed the re-opening of our Seniors outreach! These widows have been suffering a lot during COVID restrictions. We are so happy to see them together again, being cared for and loved!
This is a project of TBA's in Bukavu, Democratic Republic of Congo. These women have experienced many hardships and are often marginalized in the community.
They are welcomed in Tupende Wazee, where they are fed, loved, find fellowship, and people who care about them.
When funding is available, we have the opportunity to educate them on health issues, COVID restrictions, etc.
The ladies have shared how the food and fellowship have strengthened them, encouraged them, and created a 'community' for them.
