Re-entry.......

The time has come for adjustments the other direction. It is time to begin the journey back to Canada. Today was +38 C here. I understand that Manitoba is experiencing a 'mild winter' this year. That could still mean a temperature drop of 50 degrees or more!

And that is only the beginning of the changes in store.....

Visit me.......I will be feeling somewhat lost!

Church Dedication Service today.......

This is one side of our 'L' shaped sanctuary! It has come a long way from this;

To all of you who have encouraged, supported and prayed for us, this picture does not reveal the multitude of miracles that have taken place! You have played a part in this story. Ultimately, God is building His Church globally!

This is the big weekend. The dedication of New Life Church, 8th CEPAC, Gombe!
Saturday will see dignitaries and leaders gathered to share in the occasion.
Sunday we will have a Gospel singing mass choir in the morning service.
In preparation for the big events, the painters are painting, the tiles are down, the washrooms are built, the office should be furnished, the sanctuary chairs arrive on Thursday, etc, etc
It was to be my last Sunday here, but malaria seems to think I should take this week off! I object! Guess who's winning?
So, we will see what happens.

Bethsaida Church, Bukavu, DRC

It was so great to worship with you last Sunday! Thank you for your warm welcome and your love, prayers and support!

We flew to Bukavu.....

Just kidding! We took a prop plane, that was quite nice. 

But I thought a few of you might like to see this plane? It was parked at the Bukavu airport. On our arrival I started to see people I know. 2 missionaries from Norway! Then my dear friends from Bethsaida arrived, and I am completely taken care of from then on! It is good to be home. (I am having trouble with that word! Home Canada?  Home Kinshasa?  Home Bukavu? I am so blessed with 3 homes which includes people I love in each one! God is good! And His family are amazing!
