It has occurred to me that so often ministries publish reports of their activities or pass on information, and exclude those who have enabled them to minister and worked alongside them. I am guilty of this also.

All that I do in the Congo is supervised by Bethsaida Church and it’s leaders. In particular, our God given son, Rev. Raha Muzibao and his wife, Mapendo. They take me into their home and care for me, guide me, and assist me. I do nothing without their guidance and support. My husband and I feel very blessed to have such a son, who is a strong leader and a man of great integrity! He works tirelessly to benefit the people of Congo. We are not sure how he can do all that he does, but we are very proud of him and the whole family!

Asante sana,  Son!!

Raha, Mapendo, Hilary, Christine, and Eunice.......we LOVE you!

Tunakupenda sana,

and then to Canada....

Had the privilege of walking to the far plane....through the wind and snowdrifts.....wearing sandals and a dress! The airline gave me a couple of the flight blankets, but the wind got the better of them!
Brutal introduction to Canada!

with great sadness.....

in the distance you can see the last glimpse of my much loved Congo, as we fly eastward over Rwanda.....

Tremors....??

I was awakened this morning when the house shuddered and the metal garage doors rattled against each other. I thought perhaps it was a tremor....never having experienced one. Was I worried...NO!....it was morning, the brain function is at a minimum at that time!
It was NOT a tremor, it was a high brick retaining wall falling on the house next to it! A few children were taking to the hospital just to be safe, but there were no serious injuries. If it had happened later, there would have been many children going by on their way to school.
Thankfully, that was not the case!
