We were welcomed to Idjwi with a prayer of thanksgiving "for the first missionary we have seen here in a long long time"

it was a tremendous time spent with these pastors and leaders for a 5 day seminar

our time together ended with a Sunday crusade

it was the end of our journey and the beginning of other journeys!

our goal is to live lives that make a difference......in the Name of Jesus!

A very hard working people! They will walk many miles each day to sell their produce and walk back home to do it all over again the next day.
Many of the women doing this are not young.
While we look at this photo, they are still working faithfully each day to provide for their families.

Prayers do make a difference. And you too can pray for these ladies right where you are today, right now! Thank you!

Tupende Wazee

Am I repeating myself? If so, sorry!

I just love this photo of the seniors' group supported by Together Building Africa!

This was a vision of Mapendo's. Seniors suffer from poverty, stress, and loss of loved ones. Many of them have inadequate accommodation.  The building we rent has a couple of rooms that can be used as a shelter when there is a need.

In this photo, they are celebrating the gift of new clothes. They were each given a comforter and some material, for Christmas. They were overwhelmed and so thankful.

This is the kind of help we are able to provide because of the support you give.

One day, as I was walking past their meeting place, they rushed over to surround me and sing a song. Such a special moment. Wish you were there!

Being a missionary means your heart has two homes. There is always a family you are missing
.....but still....

thankful, grateful, blessed to be a missionary!

feeling blessed......

Welcome......

We are so happy to welcome Pastor Raha & Mapendo to Canada!

We are a team working together for ministry in the D.R. Congo.
They keep me safe, provide a home and family for me, and manage our projects. TBA is very blessed to have them working with us! They are a tremendous blessing.

Now we have the privilege of sharing the Canada side of our mission with them.

I hope we will be able to meet many of you. I would like to introduce you and give you the opportunity to hear what TBA is doing in Congo.

If you would like the team to visit your church, just contact my email.
