This beautiful lady is the chief of her tribe. She is a new believer and we were privileged to have an evening of fellowship at her home.

so good to be back......

First Bible study here since January. It was great to be together sharing the Word once again!

Worst ever jet lag this trip. However, today I got out of bed AND got out of my pj's.....it was a good day. Done with jet lag.

oh the majesty.......

The beauty spoke so clearly of our God (even to my bleary eyes!)

So I arrived safely on Thursday. Had a few days to try to 'getting back in gear ', preached through jet lag on Sunday morning (I sure hope it make some kind of sense?) Worst jet lag I have experienced so far in my travels.

This week will be devoted to  catching up on all I have missed over the last few months away

reunited with friends and family......

After they sang  my favorite welcome song twice! we took pictures to mark this occasion. It was a very warm welcome indeed! No one even seemed to mind that my eyes would not stay open! LOL.

Very privileged to stand with three great leaders in Kinshasa. We will be together again, very soon. 

10 days to departure! Much to be done before then.....

2 weeks from today, I will be on my way back!!!

My husband is joining me in September....woohoo!!!!

We return just before Christmas.....what were we thinking??
