After they sang  my favorite welcome song twice! we took pictures to mark this occasion. It was a very warm welcome indeed! No one even seemed to mind that my eyes would not stay open! LOL.

Very privileged to stand with three great leaders in Kinshasa. We will be together again, very soon. 

10 days to departure! Much to be done before then.....

Just a picture of a few of the many wonderful friends God has given me in the Congo. This is part of the training seminar group in a rural area.

2 weeks from today, I will be on my way back!!!

This was done by some students who sent support to a school in Bukavu. Their donations put a roof over 2 of the classrooms. The school in Congo, sent this carving as a thank-you. I think this picture is amazing, so I wanted to share it with you!

Finally Back!

Since my return at the end of January, my husband and I sold our home of 26 years, packed our belongings (well some of them), an searched for, and purchased a new home. We now live in Beausejour, Manitoba! Renovations are continuing.

So, I have been neglecting all of you who follow faithfully......my deepest apologies!

I return to the D.R. Congo in mid-July and remain there until mid-December! My husband will be joining me in mid-September......we seem to be hooked on 'mid' everything!
