What are we doing?

"Training People,  Building Community, Fighting Poverty"

education - TBA assists a school, for the children who are victims of extreme poverty, in Bukavu by covering the costs of required uniforms and supplies.
We also sponsor some students to attend university.
Cover the costs of marketable skills training for young people so that they can live a productive life, and become contributors to their nation

equipping frontline shepherds - TBA believes in equipping national leaders.
We focus on training and encouraging rural pastors, by offering seminars to encourage and build up their leadership within their communities.

African pastors are actively involved in economic development, job creation, education, medical programs, and spiritual development in their communities.
They are the workers from some of the 'frontline' areas of this planet, where security is non-existent, and the risk to just keep on living is substantial! They and their families have suffered significantly, but they keep on offering their lives for the Kingdom!

Wezesha (empowerment) we support one micro-finance post in a devastated village. This is a sustainable solution provided to vulnerable women. Over time, this will eliminate the future need for charity, and impact the whole community.

Hiltop Farm - HiLTOP Farm in the province of South Kivu. S. Kivu imports over 40000 eggs/day.
Our mission is to help meet that need locally while providing training and work for young adults.

Les Prophets School - Les Prophets, accepts children that are refused access to other schools because of their extreme poverty. There is no access to potable water, no electricity, and no health care within walking distance.
With the support of the local school in Beausejour, MB. Two classrooms had roofs built. (previously, school would be cancelled due to rain)
Later, we were able to put in large water tanks, providing the first water in the entire community. Our current project is to raise funds for latrines, to protect the health and sanitation of the children.

reading glasses - we bring these glasses from the Lions Club. They donate the glasses in excellent condition.

orphans - when we are able, TBA has supplied 3 orphanages, with milk for babies, school fees and supplies, and medical care

church planting - “The single most effective evangelistic methodology under heaven is planting new churches.”(Peter Wagner)
We are supporting a church plant, New Life Kinshasa, in the capital city of the DRC. We work closely with Bethsaida Church in Bukavu, and have also been able to aid a church plant there, New Life Bukavu

Tupende Wazee -  a place for marginalized seniors to gather, fellowship, and even have shelter for the night if needed. A nutritious lunch is provided, this has increased the health and strength of our seniors.
