some days......

From my window, I see women labouring up the steep hill, carrying huge packs on their backs, men carrying lumber for building, and a young child.....4ish....guiding a large pig up the road, in the pouring rain. The child and the animal are about the same height.

Then my eyes turn to my magazine on the table....bought it for the flight......

Hi All!

Today, we went to the church for a meeting. The roads are being repaired so we had to hike on foot for the last....oh, I don't know.......3/4 mi. or so.
On Thursday a team of 5 are heading out of the city to a village in the south. It will be a drive of 3-5 hours, and I will be teaching in the afternoon, as well as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Pastor Raha will be spelling me off so that I can rest.
We are now planning to feed these men 2 meals/day, as they are coming a distance and 'camping out' somewhere for the duration.
Looking forward to getting started. This will also be the first stop for donations....glasses, toothbrushes, sewing kits, and perhaps a soccer ball or two :)
Keep us in mind for safety and health and strength?
Thanks everyone!
